My Ruby girl just keeps growing. And so she was in need of some new shirts to accommodate her ever changing height. a With a little encouragement from Marc, Ruby and I left at 6:30pm for a spontaneous girls night out.

We drove Goldie, which means we had a bumping stereo. I gave Ruby full control as the DJ and she was living her best life. Thunder by Imagine Dragons, some T. Swift, and about the first 5 seconds of twenty other songs.

After a fun stop, Ruby ended up with 2 pairs of boots, 4 new shirts, a pair of sunnies and a nightgown. It was kind of magical being jus the two of us.
What kind of date would it be without a treat? So we popped over to Chick-fil-A and shared a chocolate shake with two straws and reviewed her New Year’s resolutions.
1. Learn to cook and bake more
2. Become a better runner
3. Read more books
4. Say her prayers morning and evening.

Isn’t she amazing? So we came up with some game plans to help her with her goals. Have Ruby help plan and prep/ make one meal a week. To help strengthen her endurance and cardio, Ruby will join me in my high fitness class and do at least the first workout song with me. During quiet time Ruby will read at least one book to a sibling. And we will report back to each other/ check in to see how our morning and evening prayers are going and if there is something specific we can pray for each other about.
