Marc has a family reunion packed weekend in Idaho and Utah celebrating Seth’s graduation. With Marc gone for four days, I decided me and the kids needed a vacation too.
So I packed our bags, charged the iPads, and were North bound to Oooooookalhoma! It’s pretty awesome that we just have to jump on the 35 and stay on it till we get to Norman, Oklahoma.

A weekend in Norman means days packed with fun crafts with Kara, fishing with Dave, a temple trip for me and general spoiling and playing.
Since driving home to Arizona to see grandparents is a full 16 hour drive, the quick trip to OK helps fill our need for family time.

Hazel was our little minor whisperer. She had no interest in the fishing poles she would just reach in the bait bucket and hold the little fishies and talk out little dialogues with them. Her jacket was soaked up to her elbows on both arms, and she was thrilled.

Levi had no time to wait for a bite, but he perfected reeling his line back in again, and again and again.

Ruby’s persistence paid off, and she caught an impressive bass.
