Sunday we were able to go to church again!

The girls lasted no more than 15 minutes till Ruby needed to go to the bathroom. And the bathrooms are closed at the church building, so Marc took Ruby, and Hazel who quickly jumped on that band wagon, home to use the bathroom. I was made the first counselor in the Young Women’s program. I am super excited to get to work with the girls. The tricky part is just getting to know them with the current restrictions.

It was a big zoo week for us. Russel insisted he and Ruby hold hands through the park.

The highlight of the week was on Friday night when Ashley and Tommy Cottom and their family had a sleep over at our house as they make their way from Florida to Utah. My kids could not have been more excited to have cousin friends over at our house! Their twins, Ellie and Tommy are just younger than Hazel and it was serious loud, happy fun.
Saturday morning we got everyone up and ready. Then the dads took all the kiddos for the splash pad and Ashley and I went for a mom morning out to the Magnolia Silos. It was just what my I needed.

Some kid free time with some family and a mama who understands the joy and grind of the day to day of motherhood.

Marc and I went on a real date without children! It was amazing and delicious and just what we needed together.
