The COVID-19 excitement hit a new high today. Disneyland is closed. Hollywood is closed. Broadway is closed. Flights from Europe to the USA is on a temporary band. The church has canceled all meetings and activities till further notice. And toilet paper is sold out everywhere.
Mom and I braved Walmart with my kids because Tyler said to get to the store before 5pm and have enough food for 30 days. Dad went to Costco and Sams Club today, and bought an entire car full. (And that made me feel a lot better)
But as I was driving home feeling a little dooms day-ish I saw this rainbow in the sky.
And instantly thought of Noah and the rainbow story in the Bible. And it was like Heavenly Father giving me a little nudge, “that everything is still good. And He keeps His promises.” And all the worry in my heart left and I felt peace. Which was doubly good because the last thing my babies need is a mom who is starting to freak, because kids can smell fear. So a calm mom helps everyone keep their happy together.
