BIG things happening

It is really starting to feel like we are wrapping up the “dental school” chapter of our life. We went to Marc’s school for his last Give Kids A Smile day. We have been an active part of this program for the last six years

(What babies!! Marc & me from our first Give Kids A Smile Day)

– from official runner, event photographers, dental prescreens at elementary schools around the valley, committee members, Marc was the co-chair last year, and this year Marc was a real life dental provider and me and the kids came to enjoy the carnival and hug some old friends. The girls were in heaven seeing all the first year dental students that were dressed up as Disney princesses. Hazel would run  right up to them and give them a hug with her whole body. (I figured this was really good practice for when we go to Disneyland in April!) I am so proud of Marc! We have come so far from just dreaming of dental school to graduating in May.

We have a new addition to our family… Nacho! Or the Nacho Express as I sometimes refer to him. Because sometimes when you are a mom, you drive a minivan es for fun. Never say never people! I swallowed a little mother pride, and I LOVE it. Ruby loves telling everyone, “Our car is magic! The doors open all by themselves!”

ANDDDDDDDD drum roll please…….. Marc officially accepted a position in the one year residency program in Waco, Texas! YEEHAW! So with Abby’s wedding on May 30th and Marc’s residency starting on July 1st we will move sometime in June. We are feeling all the feels over here- mainly excited with a good helping of nervous for the unknown. But growth comes in the getting uncomfortable and moving forward. So this is me pulling my big girl pants (and cowboy boots) on and up and saying “howdy ya’ll” to the next chapter.
