Ruby and Hazel got to see Levi over FaceTime after he was born.

Marc spent the night at home with the girls so they could have some normalcy while I was in the hospital, and my mom stayed with me and Levi. I don’t like being alone at night at the hospital. And the girls were able to come see him in person the next day.

They both were a little timid walking in the hospital room but so happy to see me. They washed their hands then Marc gave me a kiss and moved to the couch with baby brother. We asked a Ruby and Hazel if they would like to hold him?

YES!! Marc was showing off Levi’s cute little self to the girls, “here is his cute little toes, tummy, arms…” when they got to his hands Ruby stoped Marc – “Dad! Look at his thumbs (as she held her thumb up right next to brother’s) two thumbs, we match!!”

Then I slowly got out of my hospital bed to come sit with my little family. Once I sat down Hazel would not leave my lap. Apparently the girls had a hard time that I didn’t come home the night before.
