Church with Ruby and Hazel is a bit of a wrestling match filled with adorable moments of pure bliss. But I thought I needed to write down a few of the recent highlights

– Ruby quietly singing “baby shark” during the sacrament.(multiple weeks in a row)

– during a particularly long closing prayer in Relief Society Hazel started saying “amen” repeatedly which quickly turns to shouting “AMEN!” about 20 times before the prayer ended. I was laughing so hard I couldn’t keep her mouth covered.

– we sat in the back next to the Parks, which is Ruby favorite to be next to Shelby and Michelle who have magical purses with things for Ruby, and near the end of the meeting Ruby made a quick get away which quickly turned into a mad dash/ sprint up to the front. She made it to the second row to the front before Marc was able to snatch her. She ran so fast and just giggled (loudly) with delight I think the whole ward who all chuckled at Ruby’s impressive sprint.

– Ruby will quietly color and sing Families Can Be Together Forever or I Am A Child of God.

– In Relief Society, when the chairs are turned to face each other in a large circle, Hazel loves to adorably walk around and all the ladies end up reaching in their purse to find something to give to her to eat or play with. And Hazel just loves it.

– Ruby wore her princess shoes to church and during the sacrament changed the words to jingle bells to “princess shoes, princess shoes, princess shoes all the way!”
