Another day, another day of potty training, but today was a game changer (fingers crossed). We were playing and Ruby all of sudden stood with an eager look, “I need to go potty!” And she ran over to the potty and went pee!!!! I jumped up and down and cheered and she was thrilled to get her candy. We were all just SO HAPPY about it

Other highlights include

While Hazel took an extra long nap this morning Ruby and I went swimming, we saw Gypsy waking around the pool, and Ruby was thrilled. Back inside we both hid under Hazel’s bed while Ruby told me about the dragon in her bed. I asked probing questions like “does it like pancakes and donuts?” “Does it like stories and coloring?” Ruby answered affirmative to all questions. If I can’t get the dragon idea to go away I can at least plants seed to make it not scary.

Hazel went potty in the toilet TWICE today.

Hazel has been trying to balance and stand up by herself.

We wrote a pen pal letter to Lily up at BYU-I.

In attempts to keep Ruby off the carpet I busted out the making tape in the kitchen and blocked off a large rectangle which is now our “Moana boat”. And Ruby was pretty happy playing on the boat for most of the afternoon. #momwin

My calves have been real sore yesterday and today and I couldn’t figure out why , until this morning. Sunday, whilst trying to get some energy out of Ruby for an early pre-church nap we literally skipped around the house for 30 minutes. #momwod
