Sick day

I woke up today with a nasty stomach bug. Like spent the whole morning in the bathroom bad.

I got a blessing from Marc and Brad and thought I was taking a turn for the better. Than Marc left for school and it went down hill. I was overheating, my head was spinning, I threw up and felt like I was going pass out. Luckily I had my phone and texted my mom to please come now and that I was going to pass out.

Jenny was at my house in like a minute and literally picked me up off of my cold bathroom floor I was laying on.

My mom came over. She settled my kids, vacuumed my house, and straighter all the rooms, and went and got me vitamin water and saltines.

Hazel woke up like 2 minutes after Mom left and I quickly learned she has 2 molars coming in. Ruby is having one giant power struggle and threw her bowl of macaroni across the counter at me.

After Ruby cooled off, I went in and apologized for having my phone out while she was taking to me, she apologized for the macaroni, we hugged, and then the three of us played in their room with giggles and only an occasion dash by me to the bathroom.

I think Ruby looks so much like her cousin Jane, when Jane was this age

They love to both sit in Rubys bed and jump around. We spread out all the blankets and Ruby danced around and sang ring around the Rosie’s.

I put Hazel down for her nap and Rubby in her bed with a library book. I explained that my tummy hurt really bad and I need a nap so I needed Ruby to stay in her bed. She nodded like she understood. From my room I can hear her reading Goodnight Gorrilla while she interrogates her Piggy. I love her so much.

Just another day of dueling pianos at our house

Russel M. Balllard said, “Recognize that the joy of motherhood comes in moments. There will be hard times and frustrating times. But amid the challenges, there are shining moments of joy and satisfaction.”

Playing with the ginger princess, Poppy, and Branch
