Last night Hazel was having a hard time and woke up several times crying. So I would go in, re-swaddle her, hold her close, sing her a song, then tuck her back in bed.

On my second or third time in there I hadn’t realized Ruby had woken up, and while I was wrapping Hazel up, Ruby started singing “I like to look for rainbows…” for Hazel. Ruby and I finished the song together. Then we sang I am a Child of God and I put Hazel back in bed and stopped to blow Ruby a kiss.

My mommy heart almost burst with love for those sisters. I love them so much.
