For Easter we were trying to focus more on Jesus and what Easter means to us. We had our attempt of food from the last supper (avocado {working with my audience, and I’m sure Jesus also appreciated a good “Cado”}, tomatoes, dates, almonds, Peoria’s, pita, and apples)
We talked about how Jesus washed his apostles feet and taught that we need to love another. It was maybe 60 seconds with this attention span but the girls love when we sang “love one another”.

we went to the Easter Pageant with Grammy Carol, Papa, Alisa, Justin, Seth, & Kenzie. And Linsey Passey. Hazel fell asleep in the wagon. Ruby did not. She loved the show, the sheep, all the Little Caesar’s pizza and made it her job to check if anyone was hungry periodically though the show. “Papa, you want pizza??”
Picture- we ran into Maddi and Jon. Actually I saw Jon from a far before the show stated. So Hazel and I caught up to him and followed awkwardly close behind him without saying anything till he turned around. We love Jon.
Picture- Ruby with Abby, her favorite.
I LOVE the pageant so much. I cried just a little because I didn’t have the girls and I do it this year. After doing it like 12 times, I can’t help mouthing the words, wanting to run to the center grass stage to reach for Jesus to tough my hand in Healing and Teaching, have Ruby with will all the kids in Jesus and the children scene, watch Marry tenderly hold baby Jesus, raising my hand when Jesus rides in on the donkey at Triumphal Entry, and sing I know he lives!
Sisters!!!

Easter also fell on conference this year! Which is one of my favorites. This conference I was in charge of our Conference kits. Notebooks, crayons, sidewalk call, fig bar, and testimony from me. As much as the kits are fun, I like how it gives marc and I an excise annually to write a little love note to our girls and each other and share what we love about Jesus.

This conference we had a solemn assembly and sustained President Nelson as our new prophet. It was super sweet to get to do it as a family. Ruby could fee the excitement and loved raising her hand for all the sustaining. I know President Nelson is called of God.

Ruby woke up sick, barf on the carpet. So she was not into pictures. Hazel on the other hand was a healthy little ray of sunshine. So with a sick baby we did the great divide and conquer for Easter dinners.
Marc went to his parents alone while I did nap time at home with the girls. Grammy Carol and Papa gave the girls Easter baskets. The eggs were a huge hit, especially the ones filled with stickers. Ruby quickly claimed all the stickers as her own.
she doesn’t let me just snuggle her on the couch very often. So it needed to be documented
