This morning when Ruby woke up I came into her room with her singing, “clean up, clean up…” in her bed.

When I dropped Ruby off at Grammy Carol’s house a bird flew over head singing a happy song. I pointed it out to Ruby and told her the bird was saying, “good morning Ruby.” She stoped looked up at the bird and yelled, “HELLO BIRD!!”

Carol told me when she put Ruby down for her nap she was saying, “I’m crying…. I’m crying…… I’m crying…. I’m crying.” But she fell asleep in like 5 minutes.

Ruby and I were FaceTiming Abby in Cancun and Abby showed us an iguana. Ruby thought it was so cool and kept saying ,” iguana, iguana..” that soon turned into , “Moana.. Moana.” And then Abby showed us the ocean and it was all Moana from there.

These are the heart stickers from her nursery valentines. They are most precious and she has carried them around for days. One ended up in the toilet and she was so devastated she couldn’t have it backed. All teary eyed I asked her if it was the heart of TeFiti, exasperated she looked up at me, “YES!”. So we got it out and soaped it up real good and restored the heart.
