While I️ was trying to put the laundry away Ruby found their matching dresses, and then insisted that she and Hazey girl needed to wear them. And I️ was not going to argue with that. I️ was all 😍.

Then we went to Sam’s and Hazel rode in the grocery cart for the FIRST time!! Winner winner!! (Or is it twinning is winning?)This is Ruby trying to get Hazel to look at the camera. Ruby held her hand and happily talked her through this big girl moment

On Friday night we went to the Riparian Reserve and had a picnic of Thrive Bowls and walked the loop in our red wagon looking for bunnies and ducks. marc is our trusted daddy, leader, tour guide, and expert of all the wildlife and plants. (He reminded me, he IS a biologist after all. #true) He points out the sparrows, starlings, spoon billed ducks, geese, cotton tails, and anything else that crosses our path with or without a variety of accents.Ruby is such a goober and really is into saying “cheese!” And this tiny box of gold fish made the ride so so good. She is so fun right now! She is a sponge and a parrot these days, taking everything in and repeating everything. She kills me with the things that come out of her little mouth.

She has really made me take a step back and think about what I️ say and how I️ react to things because I️ know that it will be mirrored by this mini me. In my nightly prayers I️ have been asking for help in the things I️ say and do to help mold these girls to be strong, kind, and forgiving little ladies.Hazel loves being a big girl sitting in her Bumbo in the wagon.Ruby was quite excited about the ducks and quacked for most of the trail. If you asked her after that every animal said “quack quack” … cats, dogs, horses. Except frogs, according to our animal expert almost 2 year old they sound like elephants. and here is the #reallife moment brought to us by a poopy diaper.oh Hazel girl, you are so sweet. My little ray of sunshine. I️ LOVE these girls so much. Being their mom make my heart full and the days sweet. This is currently my favorite stage yet. and a sunset kiss with my love… and Chewie.
