These days involve late night/ early morning nursing. Eggs, toast, and a kiss from Marc as he heads to school. Snuggles with Hazel. Ruby sleeping in till 8/9/ or 10. Ruby’s breakfast baba. Reading stories. Playing catch. More stories. A visit to Robin and some pretzels. Lunch. FaceTime Grammy or Abby. Nap time. Snuggles with Hazel. Maybe afternoon nap time yoga. Snack time. Playing kitchen. More stories. Cherrio picnic. Play the piano with Ruby. A round of two of popcorn popping. Dad comes home. Hooray. Dinner. Small dance party. Marc and Ruby swim. Bath time for Ruby. Last story with Marc. Family prayer. Ruby goes to bed at 7. Hazle hangs out till last milk. Marc and I hang out/ work out/ or make out. If she is fussy going down Marc takes her on the couch. Sleep. Repeat. I am so happy my heart could burst.
I love being a mom and being with my girls. The past 4 years of being the bread winner and working has made me even more grateful for the time I have to spend at home with these two.
