A day for dad’s

Happy Fathers Day!
Ruby’s present was she slept in till 9:30!  The day also started out with quite the excited discovery that baby sister had dropped significantly and my baby belly was riding a lot lower.

At my last dr appointment baby was measuring full growth and I was dialted to a 3. Then mild contractions started about and hour before church and were relatively  consistent till noon. Marc and I were a little on pins and needles of anticipation, but it fizzled to a false alarm. So Marc was not gifted with a second daughter for Father’s Day.

The timing for baby sister is potentially a little tricky. She is not due to July 6th but with these new predicaments (contractions and dropping) we feel she will come early. And  Marc takes his boards this Wednesday morning (8 hour test 1 hour driving distance away) and my mom is leaving on the 27th for a family reunion in Canada and won’t be back for 10 days. So we shall see when this little girl makes her grand entrance.

Ruby and I showered Marc in love, kisses, and new fabulous church socks.

We then went to celebrate  with Grandpa Kerry. He loved the grilling spices we gave him, the gift that keeps on giving. And then we had dinner with Papa Tucker.

Ruby, baby sister, and I are especially blessed to have Marc. He is so kind, smart, hard working, and silly. He is always willing to interrupt his studying for Ruby to show him what she was baking in her play kitchen. He always has our back. We love love love our dad.
