27th was my 26th birthday. And it was buds down the best I’ve had. I started the day opening gifts with Marc. I got a new birthday dress (that fits this belly), and gridddle (let the pan cake parties begin!), and push to chase me dreams in a three part card.

We had my favorite breakfast avacado toast with sliced tomatoes and a fried egg- with ample salt and pepper. SO GOOD. Ruby girl woke up extra cheery and happy and danced around the kitchen holding her favorite chicken book.

Dad spoiled me at work with some tasty tasty birthday treats 

Cheese and crackers, berries, and some sweets. I am a sucker for cheese and crackers. I can turn down a cookie or cake all day, but if you have cheese and crackers mmmmm

Then I spent the afternoon with little sis sunshine at home. Jojo was so sweet and for my birthday offered to watch Ruby girl so Marc and I could have a night out.

We had our traditional birthday dinner of Joe’s BBQ. I have given up sweet treats but told Marc if he was a good boy at dinner he could have my birthday dessert from Liberty Market… he got a salt river bar.

We finished the night with Le Mes. Because we are about supporting the arts and Alisa (she was a lovely lady. How lovely). It was a really good show, and a really long show. Especially for a very pregnant lady to sit through. I was really grateful Jojo insisted I bring a pillow to sit on. Plus the pillow was black and white so it was all incognito with my dress.

 

 

I feel extra blessed this year. 26 is going to have a good one- I can tell.
