The White Coat Ceremony celebrates Marc becoming a medical student. Whoohoo! Fist bump baby!
There are 76 kids in his class. Marc is a serious minority being a white male. Plus a married Mormon with a baby.

The Keynote Speaker was awesome! He told several funny stories including his tribute to podiums. He told the history of white coats symbolizing purity and healing, along with the change of medicine being based on lore and tradition to being based on science.
But I loved how he said he is renaming it to a white coat pocket creamony. Pockets full of hard work. Lined with compassion for your patients…
Proud parents. In the words of Steve Martin, “son be a dentist.”
Where’s waldo?
I think everyone in his class stopped us to look at Ruby. One lady even need a few pictures. It’s official, cutest baby ever.

I asked Marc if he wanted me to write anything down about the day, “well, I have a really nice white coat now.”
We celebrated with Marc’s parents and went to Ned’s Crazy Sub, where Alisa was working. That’s how we crazy party. Marc got the poor boy samich, how appropriate.
